Description

Our client are on the lookout for an accomplished Financial Controller to take charge of the daily operations within their Finance department.

This is a pivotal and highly visible role which includes managing the Accounting system and ensuring the integrity of financial data across the parent company and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will prioritise teamwork and process optimisation, ensuring these remain central to all aspects of their work.

Empower Team Growth: Drive professional development by identifying training needs and organising impactful learning opportunities, ensuring the team thrives in their roles.

Streamline Financial Operations: Manage the Finance team's weekly workflow and oversee daily financial activities to guarantee accurate records and seamless departmental performance.

Own Critical Compliance: Take on the vital role of Company Secretary, ensuring all Companies House filings meet legal standards and are up to date.

Champion Audit Excellence: Collaborate closely with the Audit Manager to coordinate sampling and prepare robust preliminary financial statements for audits.

Lead Strategic Financial Planning: Spearhead the annual budgeting process for all entities, driving long-term financial strategy and planning.

Deliver Insightful Reporting: Produce key business reports, such as CAPEX analyses and weekly P&L summaries, providing actionable insights to guide organisational success.

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Effective management capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of Financial and Management Accounting
  • Netsuite experience desirable
