Creative Production Manager

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Hybrid, Nottingham

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Macildowie are working with a client based in Nottingham to recruit a Creative Production Manager. This is a permanent position to join a Leading Marketing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and execution of pre-production, production, and post-production stages of creative projects.
  • Allocate tasks aligning with deadlines, deliverables, and team members' skill sets.
  • Review daily work schedules to ensure projects remain on track, adjusting priorities as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, maintaining high levels of communication.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management.
  • Plan resources for future activities, identifying needs for freelance support during peak periods.
  • Implement process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and output quality.
  • Manage annual budgets, system, and software contracts, acting as the main point of contact for suppliers.
  • Organize training and process changes associated with system updates.
  • Engage freelance resources as required.
  • Chair marketing planning and priorities meetings.
  • Provide planning support and project management to marketing and other business areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a busy creative environment with a solid understanding of the creative process.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experience in production trafficking or scheduling as a traffic manager is beneficial.
  • Strong team player and leader, capable of developing strong working relationships and managing stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience using workflow/project management tools.
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills, adept at meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage change when necessary.
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace, managing multiple briefs alongside daily tasks and longer-term projects.
