  • Lead and manage project delivery teams, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Apply top-notch Project Management principles, including Lifecycle Management, Budgeting, Risk Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Business Case Benefits Realisation.
  • Champion projects and communicate progress and financial status at all levels.
  • Produce regular reports on project highlights and financial performance.
  • Innovate and improve project management methods for cost-effectiveness.

General Responsibilities:

  • Uphold organisational values and manage your performance to meet objectives.
  • Ensure proper handling of funds and act within the Scheme of Delegation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and improve team processes.
  • Assist with budgets and financial records preparation and execution.
  • Identify and implement changes for team development and value for money.
  • Build positive stakeholder relationships to promote organisational objectives.
  • Support research and development projects with a focus on financial viability.
  • Ensure statutory responsibilities are effectively discharged.
  • Respond to reasonable requests from your line manager.
  • Contribute to effective programme and Project Management for successful projects.
  • Maintain your CPD and manage your performance.
  • Comply with and improve processes and procedures.

What you'll need to succeedExtensive experience as a Project Manager, leading Project Delivery Teams, supporting multiple concurrent medium projects, you will have relevant project management qualifications or equivalent. Strong ability to manage programmes and projects and relevant programme management principles, tools and techniques. Ability to facilitate and produce project schedules.
