Sky Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a leading provider of fresh produce based on the outskirts of Mansfield.

You will be responsible for assessing the quality food produce, ensuring that only the highest-quality produce reaches their customers. This role requires keen observational skills, the ability to follow grading standards, and a commitment to maintaining their reputation for delivering fresh and premium products.
Shifts:
7.30am-4pm Monday - Friday with plenty of overtime paying £14.30ph.
Temp to perm role for the right candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assessment: Examine fresh produce ] to assess their quality, freshness, and adherence to grading standards.
- Follow Grading Guidelines: Adhere to established grading criteria and guidelines to maintain consistency in product quality.
- Quality Control: Identify and separate defective or substandard items from the production line.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to communicate any quality-related issues or improvements.
- Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production quotas while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and sanitised to meet hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for detail to accurately assess the quality of produce.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
Pay rate: £11.44
