Rise10 are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join a market leading supplier of integrated warehouse automation solutions. Our client has experienced exciting growth over recent years and because of this, it would be a fantastic time to join them, as they will really invest in your career progression.

As a Document Controller, you will ensure that all documents and procedures comply with health & safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include managing and auditing quality processes, as well as reviewing documents to maintain a professional and consistent message for customers.

Duties of a Document Controller:

  • Audit and implement ISO 9001 standards, ensuring adherence to quality procedures across departments.
  • Identify non-conformances and work with departments to improve practices and procedures.
  • Prepare for and support annual quality audits, managing related documentation.
  • Maintain and align document templates with procedures; review and update departmental documents.
  • Manage non-H&S training via an online platform, in collaboration with the H&S quality lead.
  • Coordinate with production for timely handover and completion of documentation, including O&M manuals.
  • Work with solution and design teams to accurately log project drawing amendments.
  • Support marketing with event administration as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date registers for internal and external audits.
  • Track change control and revision status for traceability within company systems.
  • Ensure latest design documentation is controlled, accessible, and distributed on time.
  • Issue reports to internal and external stakeholders as required.

Skills and experience required of a Document Controller:

  • Good knowledge of document control processes
  • IOSH
  • Ability to understand and interpret DWG’s
  • Confident at leading meetings and liaising with employees at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail
