I am excited to have the opportunity to work with a Not-for-Profit organisation based in Nottinghamshire who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract that can hit the ground running and pick up a wide range of generalist responsibilities as well as supporting the management of the HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex employee relations cases (attendance, performance, disciplinary), provide expert guidance on HR matters, and co-manage payroll with the Finance Manager.
- Supervise and support the HR team, conduct regular 1-2-1s, and lead annual appraisals to foster team development and ensure high performance.
- Drive the development and implementation of HR policies, improve HR processes, and ensure compliance with national HR initiatives and employment legislation.
- Build strong relationships with managers, service leads and key stakeholders, providing HR support and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee HR data reporting, lead key projects (e.g., Gender Pay Gap, Staff Survey analysis), and manage the ER case load while ensuring timely resolution of escalated issues.
Key Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
- Experience managing employee relations cases as well as advising and guiding managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Previous experience developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Salary & Benefits:
- £29,000 - £34,000 per annum commensurate to experience
- 35 days annual leave including Public Holidays
