My client is looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to support the Chairman on a permanent basis.

Purpose of the role

  • To provide day to day high level operational support to the Chairman.
  • To ensure that the Chairman is prepared for all meetings, presentations and travel. Management of a complex diary and meeting schedule.
  • To take notes, maintain and issue minutes of meetings where required.
  • To provide a high quality, efficient, accurate and responsive company administrative support.
  • To provide support and manage personal matters as directed by the Chairman
  • To help, research and/or manage any ad hoc project related work
  • To help with and/or manage high-level events

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Complex diary management
  • Travel arrangements - booking of flights, hotel, rail etc.
  • Organisation of meetings, creation of agendas and taking minutes where required
  • To build relationships at all levels across the business and with external contacts
  • Greeting visitors and clients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Carry out other duties that may be necessary from time to time
  • Work on and/or manage ad hoc projects and high-level events
  • Show discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Drafting, writing and research skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise an everchanging workload
  • Represent the Chairman's office in courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensure correct security measures are taken and confidentiality is kept at all times.
  • To undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably delegated by your Manager in light of skill set and capabilities.

The successful individual must have the following:

  • Degree level education
  • Advanced Interest in business or demonstrable business acumen
  • Exceptionally well spoken and well presented
  • Proven experience supporting Executive level
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
