You will be responsible for moving product designs from concept through production and ensuring high standards in every step of the process.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design for new and existing products.
- Manage product development and costings with an eye towards life-cycle management.
- Create high-quality modelling and drawings at component, subsystem, and system levels in line with industry standards.
Requirements:Essential:
- A degree in engineering (Master's level preferred) with a strong mechanical focus, ideally specializing in Thermodynamics, Aerodynamics/Fluid Dynamics, Dynamics and Vibrations, or Renewable Energy.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in mechanical design of engineering systems.
- Proven success in design cost-reduction activities.
- Experience in design for manufacture and assembly.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks, with a strong understanding of industry-standard drawing practices.
