Requirements for Applicants:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as an applicant engineer/ estimator within the HVAC industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong client rapport
  • Working with ISO9001 quality procedures and CDM regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and understand customer inquiries including the scope of works documents, schedules, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Identify and make recommendations of resources required to provide timely execution of quotations across the department.
  • To inform the Sales team and customers of any concerns surrounding the technical scope of work.
  • Use component and product selection software to prepare and produce estimates for bespoke equipment that meets HVAC regulations.
  • To consider and apply commercial and technical solutions to reduce internal costs and increase gross profit.
  • Record appropriate exclusions/ inclusions to mitigate risk.
  • Communicating and documenting the scope of work to the project manager.
  • Liaising with internal departments ensuring they have relevant information regarding projects.
