Are you an experienced leader in the removals industry looking for your next big opportunity? We are recruiting for a Removals Branch Manager to oversee a thriving branch based in Nottinghamshire. The Role:

As Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for the branch's performance, managing a team of 30 staff across operations, coordination, surveying, and removals crews. You will lead the team to deliver a world-class removals service while ensuring the branch meets its financial, operational, and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow and service delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Manage warehouse operations, fleet maintenance, and driver compliance.
  • Conduct customer visits to maintain exceptional service standards and address any concerns proactively.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive revenue growth by developing local accounts and managing key client relationships.
  • Lead and mentor the sales and coordination teams to achieve conversion targets and margin objectives.
  • Conduct monthly sales reviews, monitor team performance, and ensure a strong sales pipeline.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure staff resources are effectively allocated to meet operational demands.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in the removals, relocation, or logistics industry.
  • Transport Manager CPC qualification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, transport compliance, and fleet management.
  • Demonstrable experience managing Profit & Loss, driving revenue, and improving margins.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
