Twenty2 Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover) in Newark NG24 - potential for a permanent contract.
This role will be to primarily support the finance department with raising purchase orders, invoicing and bank reconciliation.
Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours
Salary Circa £30k doe
Duties
- Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the purchase ledger.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
- Liaise with suppliers to address queries regarding payments and invoices.
- Support the finance team as required
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Experience in accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with human resources functions is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers and internal departments.
