Twenty2 Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover) in Newark NG24 - potential for a permanent contract.

This role will be to primarily support the finance department with raising purchase orders, invoicing and bank reconciliation.

Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours

Salary Circa £30k doe

Duties

  • Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the purchase ledger.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
  • Liaise with suppliers to address queries regarding payments and invoices.
  • Support the finance team as required

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Experience in accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with human resources functions is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers and internal departments.
