Role Overview:We are currently recruiting a Saw Operator for out site in Newbridge. The main purpose of this role is to operate the saw to process customer orders and orders for stock. Ensure material is safely banded and marked to customer specifications which will be provided. There are 2 saws on site so you may be placed to work on either. The hours of work are 6am to 3pm & 2:30pm to 11pm Monday to Friday rotating weekly.

Key Responsibilities are to:

  • Set up the saw
  • Select, inspect and load component material
  • Carry out processing of material
  • Carry out and record finished goods inspections as specified
  • Identify programming and set up errors and pass to Warehouse manager for rectification
  • Work with managers and supervisors to implement the companies policies and business objectives
  • Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat & tidy
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
