Accounts Senior/Outsourcing Senior - SUPERB ROLE

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast growing Top40 Accounting Firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior/Outsourcing Senior to join their growing Business Services team in West Berkshire. Managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses and working as part of a cloud-accounting/virtual finance team, this is a fantastic opportunity to use your Management Accounts & Client Accounts experience towards achieving promotion in the future, and key duties include:

• Managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as preparation and review of management accounts and VAT returns• Preparation and presentation of management reporting, including analysis and interpretation of performance against KPI’s• Assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial reporting packs for clients• Reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements• Working with clients, assisting with the implementation of accounting systems and solutions• Communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, and responding to client queries on a range of issues.• Providing training to clients on cloud accounting packages - Xero Accounts and Quickbooks - as required• Visiting clients onsite to help resolve bookkeeping/accounting issues or take on accounts-related projects• Coaching and supervising junior colleagues within the Outsourcing team • Assisting with filings of taxes and statutory returns for clients as necessary• Liaising with Managers to ensure all client accounting work is completed accurately, within budget and on time

To be considered for the Accounts Senior/Outsourcing role you should be seeking a firm where wider responsibilities, personal ownership and a broader client base will be made available to you, and knowledge of cloud accounting packages (ideally Xero and/or Quickbooks) would be a distinct advantage. Experience of working in an Accountancy Firm or specialist Outsourcing Boutique is required along with proven client/portfolio management, management accounting skills, statutory accounts & related bookkeeping experience. You should ideally be an ACA or ACCA Finalist (within one year to full qualification), or already ACA/ACCA Qualified.

On offer is a salary up to ÂŁ45,000 depending on experience & level of qualification, 23 days holiday, corporate pension & healthcare schemes, and flexible working/WFH options.
