Exciting Opportunity for a Service Administrator!

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic team? Our client, a leading company in the Medical Division, is seeking a Service Administrator to support their service department. As the Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently managing service requests and providing top-notch administrative support. The working hours are 8.30am - 5pm, paying £14 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate service work and call-out requests while recording all details.
  • Act as the point of contact for non-technical matters related to the service department
  • Maintain a close working relationship with our 3rd party Service Provider, Veritek
  • Keep accurate service records and prepare reports as required
  • Collaborate with our loan/demo coordinator to facilitate the availability of loan/demo stock to customers
  • Liaise with the sales force to establish priorities for customer's orders, installations, and product configurations
  • Handle customer service invoice inquiries via email and telephone
  • Maintain meticulous service contract records, including equipment and serial numbers, on our management system
  • Provide necessary support to the UK Service Manager using Excel
  • Comply with all health and safety legislation
  • Adhere to the procedures defined by our client's Q.A. systems
  • Attend internal and external training courses as required and assist in training new staff.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and comfortable using management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Punctual and reliable.
