Adecco are seeking a strong Customer Service/ Admin Advisor to join our client in Newbury as soon as possible on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely team and there is potential for the position to turn into a permanent role. With an annual salary between £26,000 - £27,000 per annum, working 37.75 hours per week, this is an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

As a Customer Service/ Admin Advisor, your main responsibilities will include managing customer telephone and email enquiries, processing customer orders, and maintaining accurate customer account records. You will also be responsible for ensuring our customers have a 'first-class' freight delivery service and escalating any customer complaints or queries to the Customer Service Manager. Additionally, you will assist the Customer Returns Manager by summarising customer complaint details and provide support to the wider sales and marketing function with ad hoc tasks. From resolving pricing queries to arranging deliveries, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

To succeed in this role, you must have a customer-first attitude and be willing to go the extra mile to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to inspire and influence. Previous experience in a customer care or customer-facing role is required, and you should be confident on the telephone with outstanding attention to detail. Being highly organised, able to multitask, and work to targets will also be key to your success. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally experience with Sage 200 is preferred, as are excellent team player traits.
