Role Overview: The Internal Sales & Operations Coordinator will play a dual role, focusing on both sales and operations. The successful candidate will initially support sales administration tasks and gradually transition into a full sales role as the company grows. Additionally, they will support the General Manager and provide cover on the daily operations and administration, including managing order processes and ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Sales Administration
- Generate leads and manage warm leads.
- Handle account management and upselling.
- Achieve sales targets and earn commissions.
- Conduct internal sales and prepare quotes using templates.
- Create specification sheets and drawings using the Picon system (training provided).
- Focus on UK-based clients
- Develop new business opportunities.
Operations Administration/Customer Service:
- Manage the entire order process from initiation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Maintain strong communication with clients to provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and production, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues in the order process to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proactively manage time and tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and manage necessary documentation related to orders, including invoices, shipping documents, and customer records.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven sales background with experience in lead generation and account management.
- Strong verbal and written communication are a must for this varied position as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work proactively.
- Familiarity with quoting and specifically knowledge of specification sheet creation would be beneficial but not essential and full training would be provided.
- Experience with the Picon system is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
