Customer Service Representative

  • Job Type: Full-time, Perm - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours 

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our clients expanding team. This role involves serving customers by providing product and service information, processing orders, and ensuring smooth dispatch and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical device industry and possess strong communication and administrative skills.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Communicate with customers and sales representatives/agents.
  • Answer telephone inquiries and manage bookings for loan and consignment sets and other orders.
  • Process orders and loans for products using DEAR CRM.
  • Track back orders, pricing queries, and quotations.
  • Respond to product and service questions, suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Record and update customer account information.
  • Prepare invoices after dispatch of orders and file completed customer orders and records.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analysing customer information.
  • Assist with preparing orders within the warehouse environment ready for dispatch to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and contribute to continuous improvement plans via inhouse system.
  • Learn other job roles within the company to assist during holiday and sickness periods.
  • Perform any other relevant, reasonable ad hoc duties as requested.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in the medical device industry, dealing with sterile and non-sterile implantable medical devices.
  • High level of IT literacy and efficiency in an administrative environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising and organising workload.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and telephone manner.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiarity with Power BI.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.
