Divisional Finance Manager - Leading Technology Company (Newbury)

My client, a market-leading technology company based in Newbury, is experiencing continued growth and success. As a result, they are looking to recruit a Divisional Finance Manager to take ownership of financial operations within a key business unit.

This is a high-impact role, providing financial leadership and strategic insight to drive future growth. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and process improvements. A key aspect of this role involves streamlining existing processes, enhancing reporting, and strengthening the integration between finance and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the primary business partner to the senior leadership team, providing financial insight and guidance.
  • Leading month-end reporting, with a hands-on approach and the ability to step in as needed.
  • Overseeing budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with senior leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Supporting the transition to centralised finance activities and system integration.
  • Assisting with statutory accounts, VAT returns, and audit management.
