Kitchen Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to support the Catering team with all aspects of catering whilst providing a friendly, efficient service to all staff and pupils.

- Job Type: Permanent Role
- Salary: 12 per hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours, 5 out of 7 working pattern Monday-Sunday 12PM - 8PM
- Term time only + 5 weeks
As the Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that the dining room, servery, and salad counters are set up and maintained to the highest standards of food service and hygiene
- Assisting with any food preparation as directed by the management team
- To ensure the service counters and areas are clean ready for the next service
- Ensuring the crockery, cutlery, glasses are clean and well presented
- To work in all areas of the operation including front of house, plate, and pot wash on a rota basis
The successful candidate will have the following related skills / experience
- Professional yet friendly approach with strong communication skills
- Flexible approach to the type of work undertaken and the hours worked
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Ability to meet Health & Safety requirements / guidelines
- Ability to work unsupervised and to own initiative
- Due to the location, you must be a driver with your own transport
