About the Role

As the HR Manager, you will report directly to the Bursar and oversee the HR operations, providing strategic guidance on policy implementation and employee relations. The role demands a proactive approach to managing HR processes, fostering engagement, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment and safeguarding regulations. This role is term time + 20 days!

Duties will include:

  • Advising senior leadership on HR policies and employee relations
  • Overseeing recruitment and ensuring compliance with safeguarding standards
  • Managing performance appraisals, training programmes, and well-being initiatives
  • Administering employee benefits and conducting salary benchmarking
  • Leading HR compliance and reporting, including maintaining the Single Central Register
About You

You will be CIPD qualified, with proven experience in generalist HR roles, including employee relations and HR advisory support. You should possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of safeguarding, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior managers. Proficiency in MS Office and a commitment to child protection and equality are essential.
