About the Role

Upon successful completion of the probationary period, this hybrid opportunity offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week. Operating within standard office hours (9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm), Monday to Friday, the Commercial Administrator will play a pivotal role in the daily processing of export documentation.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Commercial Administrator will oversee the meticulous processing and monitoring of export documentation, ensuring adherence to deadlines and impeccable presentation of documents.

  • Managing and updating export documentation tracking systems
  • Coordinating submission of export and customs data to relevant entities
  • Facilitating communication with overseas agents to manage export schedules and documentation status
  • Collaborating and supporting the Sales Administration Supervisor and documentation team
  • Ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards
  • Providing support in invoicing exports via IFP order management systems
  • Conducting final compliance checks on documents produced by the documentation team
  • Handling letter of credit applications and customer contracts to ensure conformity and avoid discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales documentation

About You

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in import/export operations
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proficiency in managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Initiative-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously
