A brilliant school based in Newbury are looking to welcome a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to the school in December 2024. The school cater to children aged 5-18 years old with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and complex needs. They are looking to expand their support staff team with another dedicated HLTA!

  • Full Time, Permanent position

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant

As an HLTA, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing targeted support to students on a 1:1 or group basis
  • Classroom management - adapting and delivering lesson material adjusted to students' individual needs
  • Assessing and reporting - collaborating with SENCO to adapt students education plans
  • Assessing and reporting students' progress, development and attainment
  • Mentoring - guidance of other support staff such as teaching assistants
