Salary: - 70,735 - 74,790 (Soulbury - Senior and Principal Educational Psychologists - SCP 12 to SCP 15 plus 3 spa points)


Our client is seeking an inspiring and dedicated professional to join the Children's Services Management Team as the Principal Educational Psychologist & SEMH Service Manager. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the leadership and direction of the service area, ensuring that our SEND & Inclusion Strategy Delivery Plan is effectively implemented, monitored, and reviewed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Educational Psychology and SEMH Service, ensuring delivery of strategic and service objectives while effectively managing team resources.
  • Drive educational psychology practices that improve outcomes for children and young people, particularly those with SEND.
  • Support and develop multidisciplinary approaches, contributing to policies that promote inclusion and align with government and local initiatives for SEND, Wellbeing, and Mental Health.
  • Represent the service area at local and regional levels, building positive relationships with council members and external stakeholders.
About You:
  • A proven leader with strong service and resource management skills.
  • Comprehensive experience in educational psychology practice, with a deep understanding of SEND and inclusive strategies.
  • Have a Honors Degree in Psychology or its equivalent recognised by the British Psychological Society
  • Be HCPC Registered
