We work on behalf of a fantastic special school based in the Newbury area that are looking for either full-time or part-time TA's to join the team for an immediate start ideally. The school look after a range of special needs but mainly support students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs.
The school are such a lovely team, we have a few TA's currently supporting there who absolutely love it there. It's challenging work but also incredibly rewarding work!
The role
The role of TA revolves heavily around supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. Being proactive is essential in being a success in this role, students won't always be asking for help so you must find ways to help where you can!
Experience working with SEMH students is preferred but the school are open to a range of different applications.
