Temp to permanent on offer for successful teachers!

An inspiring SEN school in West Berkshire (Thatcham) are looking to recruit Special Needs English Teachers on a temp to permanent basis, beginning immediately.  As a Teacher, you’ll work with neurodiverse children and young people that have additional needs related to communication and interaction, cognition and learning, sensory and/or physical needs. You’ll get all the training and support you need to make sure their learners have the best experience possible. Whether it be curriculum development skills or working with our integrated therapies team to support the learners.

  • Experience in specialism (SEN) desired, but open to new teachers
  • Training will be provided by the school
  • Candidate will need to be resilient and creative
  • Creative and tailored approach to delivering lesson content. Life/essential skills/ Cooking/ Money are all aspects that are desired in delivery of content
  • 4 or 5 pupils per class, with 2 TA’s assigned to each class
  • Language skills are essential as they have some pupils who are non-verbal
  • Behavioural/ ADHD/ ASD/ Autism/ Trauma based school
  • Full support with other teachers and staff within the school
