Carpet & Flooring Salesperson | Newbury | 9.00 am-5.30 pm Monday- Saturday, 10.00 am-4.00 pm bank holidays | £16,000 - £18,000 DOE + OTE £25,000-£30,000

A leading independent retailer of Carpets, Flooring and Beds is seeking an experienced dynamic Carpet & Flooring and Bed salesperson who can work in both our busy Newbury and Winchester stores.

Our staff and customers remain the most important aspects of our business, and we strive to ensure we maintain high levels of care for both.

Please note – this full time position includes Saturday, with a day off in the week, and alternate Sunday working for an additional supplement.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • An understanding of measuring, planning, costing and knowledge of flooring and bed types would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be confident and highly motivated

What will your role look like?

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Assisting with stock control and ensuring the showroom is kept up to date
  • Develop long term customer relationships
