We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Travel Agent to join our dynamic team in Newbury.

Role Overview:As a Travel Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking travel advice and booking services. Your expertise will help clients plan their holidays, business trips, and special occasions, ensuring they receive tailored travel solutions. This role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in travel and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and excursions.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, travel packages, and itineraries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, destinations, and special promotions.
• Handle inquiries and provide support to clients in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Process bookings accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is correct and complete.
• Resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Collaborate with travel suppliers to secure the best deals for our clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in the travel or hospitality sectors.
• Passion for travel with firsthand knowledge of popular destinations and travel trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using booking systems and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Customer Service: Experience in providing top-notch service, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
• Sales Skills: Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell services and products to clients.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding service.

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary (£18,000 - £23,000) based on experience and qualifications.
• Flexible working hours: 6 days one week and 5 days the next, with a rotating day off (not Saturdays).
