Document Controller needed for our Newcastle based client. 

As document controller your principle accountabilities will include:

  • Transferring files between internal and external systems
  • Management of system workflows
  • Understanding, creating and applying naming conventions, altering and uploading documents accordingly.
  • Uploading approval drawings, monitoring portals for drawing comments or received information, and downloading client comments for internal review across various project portals.
  • Collating and sending operating and maintenance manuals for clients.
  • Updating and maintaining a library of existing manuals & documentation to bring in line with company standards.
  • Creating and updating site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  • Updating project and delivery tracker information across all projects.
  • Sending of CAD drawings for approval with project-specific information.
  • Answering inbound calls and directing accordingly.
  • Supporting the pre contracts design manager with ad hoc tasks.

  • Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Document management
  • Computer literate

Training and qualifications

  • GCSE level A-C
