Duty Manager - F&B - 5-star Hotel We are looking for an experienced Hotel Duty Manager to lead the F&B team of this lovely 5-star hotel near Newcastle.As Duty Manager you will be a key member of the management team as you will be proactively supervising the day-to-day operation when on shift, helping out in departments as required and identifying and resolving problems in liaison with, or in the absence of, the Head of the Department.  The PerksAs Hotel Duty Manager you can look forward to the following:

The PlaceA 5-star hotel near Newcastle comprised of several characterful buildings. They have a fabulous collection of individually styled bedrooms, a modern conference centre and leisure Club with a gym, outdoor jacuzzi and sauna.  The Person The ideal Hotel Duty Manager will have the following:
  • Experience in all operational areas of a quality hotel with at least 1 years' experience in a Supervisory or Junior Management role (previous Duty Management experience an advantage).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a good command of written & spoken English and an outgoing personality and professional manner.
  • Customer focus, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate others, leading by example, with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) and a working knowledge of Opera and Micros
  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and procedures.
  • Prepared to work a flexible rota 5 out of 7 days, according to the needs of the business.
