Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Company Car
The Client
Our client are the world's largest HVAC manufacturer and fastest growing brand of HVAC products in the UK, and in supporting further growth are looking to expand their team in many of the key areas of their business.
We are currently recruiting for an Accountant based at our clients' head office in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
The Role of Accountant
We are looking for an Accountant to support the UK sales and distribution of products supplied by the World's largest HVAC manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant
- Analyse costs and develop cost-saving strategies.
- Process payroll, payments and manage bad debt.
- Monitor inventory levels and pricing trends.
- Analyse financial data to determine the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures.
- Assist in highlighting stock control issues.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in an accounting role with a good knowledge of company/statutory accounting procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of accounts/finance IT systems, database management and a proficient user of office IT systems including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Highly numerate and analytical with a good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be diplomatic
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- University degree
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- 5 years' experience working as an Accountant.
