Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to work for a great company based in the Sunderland.
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the planning, forecasting and reporting of the company performance, preparing statements, balance sheets, monitoring cash flow, analysis etc.
Location: Hybrid options - 3 days office based
Financial Accountant duties:
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly Management accounts analysis for overhead costs
- year-end audit
- Financial analysis
- Maintain daily cash flow forecasting
- Work closely with the Financial Controller
- Budgets and forecasts
- Support with month-end / year-end close
- Mentor and manager an Accounts Assistant
Skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a similar Financial Accountant - Accounting - Financial Analysis type role. Ideally be qualified / part qual
- Good IT skills and advanced Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualifed
