KCR Solutions is seeking a Financial Accountant for a manufacturing company in Sunderland.
The ideal candidate should be a Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant with strong Excel and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include supporting the monthly closing process, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and preparing statutory accounts.
Candidates must have experience with statutory accounts preparation under FRS 101 & 102 and possess strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
The position offers a salary range of £48,000 to £52,000, along with hybrid and flexible working options and excellent benefits.

KCR Solutions are recruiting a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Sunderland. This role will suit if you are Qualified or Part-Qualified with excellent Excel and communication skills. Main duties will include: Support monthly closing process including reporting to senior management

Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies
Business partner for production and other departments
Prepare statutory accounts
Support preparation of forecasts and business plans
Work cross-functionally to deliver reporting and variance analysis
Key point of contact for external auditors

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
Statutory accounts preparation under both FRS 101 & 102
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards
Coordinating internal controls and compliance (JSOX / SOX)
Ability to present data in a clear and structured way
SAP proficiency would be advantageous
Strong spreadsheet (Excel) and PowerPoint skills
