If this sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Management Accountant to join a forward-thinking organisation.

Robertson Bell are recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant and will play a pivotal role in supporting financial operations and strategy for a group of schools. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the financial health and operational success of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts, variance analyses, and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with schools to create and monitor budgets while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Managing month-end processes, including payroll checks, VAT returns, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Driving financial improvements and integration for new members of the organisation.

This position offers a hybrid working model from their Newcastle based office and requires occasional travel between sites which will all be expensed. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team and benefit from a employer pension over 20%!

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, enabling them to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Are AAT qualified or equivalent and have extensive experience in financial management (education/charity sector experience is advantageous).
  • Have a proven track record of delivering accurate financial reports, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of attention to detail.
  • Are proficient in financial systems.
