Personal Tax Senior / Personal Tax Assistant - Part-time hours - Newcastle

The Firm:

The Brief:

We are seeking a Tax Senior on a part-time basis who will support the Tax Manager with the day to day delivery of personal tax returns on behalf of the firms client portfolio.

The Role:

  • Working in a small tax team you will support with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns on behalf of sole traders, landlords, directors, HNWI’s and non-resident individuals.
  • Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns.
  • Communicating tax liabilities to clients and providing the necessary information to meet deadlines
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities within your portfolio and communicating these to the Partners.
  • Assisting the Tax Manager with ad-hoc advisory projects.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years experience working in an accountancy firm preparing UK self-assessment tax returns.
