We are delighted to be working with one of our favourite clients, seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a maternity leave.This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified professional with international or European accounting experience looking for a long-term contract. The role is to start as soon as possible.The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office, however this is negotiable for the right candidate (travelling out of area) and offering a salary of £50,000 per annum.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with international and European accounting standards
Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures
Support tax and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to senior management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business
Assist with process improvements and financial system enhancements

About You:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Strong experience in international or European financial operations
Proven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis
Excellent knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with various stakeholders.
