Production Machine Operator / Setter / CNC

Production Machine Operator / Setter / CNC required for industrial brush manufacturing company based in Throckley, Newcastle upon Tyne. Salary £15.75 hour + Overtime + bonus.

They specialise in the consultancy, design and manufacturing of brushes for cleaning equipment manufacturers. Due to continued growth they now require an experienced Production Machine Operator / Setter / CNC to join the team. Full training will be given on how to use and maintain the CNC machinery, however, past experience of operating engineering machines is essential. Knowledge of electrical systems would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will be crossed trained on a number of machines including robot production cells.

You:

  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work with the minimum of supervision on high output machines
  • Have an understanding of computers as production programs will need to be created for new products.

The role involves working to tight schedules in a demanding and physical production environment.

Standard week 40hrs + 2.5hrs at time & a half. Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.00pm; Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm
