About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join a school in North Tyneside. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the school premises, ensuring a safe and clean environment for students and staff.Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds
- Cleaning and tidying classrooms, hallways, and other areas
- Setting up rooms for events and meetings
- Monitoring and replenishing the stock of cleaning supplies
- Reporting any major repairs or safety concerns to the management
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (required)
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
