Our Team

An exciting opportunity exists for an Insight Analyst to join our Personal Banking Analytics team. In this role, the customer relationship is at the heart of everything you do. You have the opportunity to support the enhancement of digital customer journeys while also supporting Personal Banking product management and proposition development. And if all that wasn't enough, you'll play a key role in deepening our existing customer relationships, through supporting both customer management activity and loyalty propositions.

What you'll be doing

  • Undertaking timely and accurate statistical analysis to support the development of Personal Banking and transactional banking propositions
  • Providing Management Information, insightful commentary and developing solutions to complex issues
  • Producing recommendations for changes to strategies, processes and models, ensuring these remain robust
  • Undertaking analysis of benchmark, market and economic information to provide key insight of current and future banking trends
  • Providing continued support to key stakeholders across the business and presenting output to key stakeholders both within and external to the department

We need you to have

  • An ability to logically analyse and interpret data, demonstrating a logical approach to problem solving in relation to both business and technical issues
  • Experience working with complex data and interpreting it
  • A talent for innovative thinking, generating original solutions to complex problems
  • A high level of numeracy
  • An ability to communicate/present effectively orally and in writing
  • An ability to listen, understand and respond professionally
  • Experience using Excel to interpret data (macros, vlookups, PivotTables etc)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy skills

It's a bonus if you have but not essential

  • A degree in a mathematical, statistical or relevant technical discipline
  • SAS / SQL coding experience
  • Experience using MS Office
