Cobalt is seeking a dynamic Assistant Building Manager to join the team managing a prestigious commercial development in Newcastle City Centre. This Grade A office building, home to prominent tenants, offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering a top-tier total FM provision for one of the UK's leading Real Estate brands.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Building Manager with the day-to-day management of the site, including deputising when necessary.
  • Assisting with setting and monitoring service charge budgets.
  • Coordinating suppliers for hard and soft services in line with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Assisting in overseeing planned and reactive maintenance for building plant and fabric, including CAPEX projects as required.
  • Helping to ensure full compliance with UK health, safety, and sustainability legislation.
  • Building strong relationships with tenants and enhancing their experience, including supporting the delivery of on-site events.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven individual with a foundation of FM knowledge for them to proactively invest in. This role will see you working hand-in-glove with the building manager, learning from a market-leading team for one the biggest and best names in global real estate.
