We are looking for an experienced, determined and high performingHead Chef as we enter an exciting period of growth and expansion in the company behind The Muddler, Newcastle. The ideal candidates would have a passion for great food. They would be highly organised, thrive under pressure and great at cooking and presenting high quality food.
The Danieli Group who own and operate a number of leisure venues in the North East, have large expansion plans on the horizon. Our brands include YOLO Townhouse, YOLO Ponteland, The Muddler.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you the Head Chef will be responsible for all aspects of running our kitchen team, managing the team, driving food quality and ensuring we deliver in a timely manner.
Main Roles include
To maintain our high standards at all times across the kitchen
Work with the General Manager and the Director of Food Operations to plan new menus
Ensure kitchen cleanliness is of a high standard
Understand and comply with all current Health and Safety legislation and Food Hygiene legislation.
Train and ensure team members are up to date and delivering exceptional standards
Ensure food is of a high quality and delivering in appropriate time
Recruit and train team members where necessary
Ensure control of stock and manage food GP for the business
Follow up on customer feedback and establish ways to improve food quality
Must Have
Head Chef or Sous Chef Experience
3 years minimum experience in working in a kitchen
Preferred Skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Background in Pan Asian cuisine
Be confident, organised, and great leader
Passionate about the business whilst motivating the team
