This is an excellent opportunity to join manufacturing business within the Air Conditioning and Ventilation industry. As an Internal Sales Manager you will lead the internal sales team pricing tenders and providing technical support to our client’s customers, external sales team and affiliates.
You will also provide support, leadership, and motivation to all the team, as well as setting departmental & individual KPI’s to help drive and improve the development and service of each area.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct daily management of Internal Sales team including training and development
- Manging the estimating workload implementing and controlling a priority system
- Key point of contact for External and DENV Affiliates Sales
- Create and manage a dashboard of metrics (volume quote, win rates, quotes declined, lead times, quote gestation period)
- Periodic reviews of quote quality
- Approval of quotes generated by External Sales.
- Manage handover process of all key / large order to the Projects Department.
- Assist team and work with Engineering on Value Engineering activities
- Work alongside Technical Manager to improve selection software
- Oversees all aspects of the customer service experience to troubleshoot processes and procedures making improvements to customer service quality
- Manages issues with the staff through assessment and subsequent corrective action protocol
- Work on an apprenticeship program in cooperation with Sales Management and HR

Requirement:
- Strong technical background with Air conditioning and Ventilation industry
- Excellent leadership Skills
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Confident user in Microsoft Office
- Good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team and on their own.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree/HNC/HND or demonstrated experience in similar role
