Our client is a major FMCG distributor in the UK. We are delighted to assist them in their search for a Key Account Account Area Sales Manager covering the Tyne & Wear part of England.Reporting into the Sales Director, this role is both field and home based with a dual remit of Key Account Development and developing new business through establishing key contacts and target customers in a fluid and competitive market.
Key Accountabilities as Key Account Account Area Sales Manager:
- Your role is all about delivering the very best customer service while meeting sales and profit targets for your own geographic region.
- You鈥檒l collaborate with our Category Specialists to deliver new and innovative food solutions.
- Working closely with existing customers to maximise growth, by introducing new products and services to their portfolio.
路Develop relationships with target customers and businesses with a view to developing new business and turning them into key accounts
路Build stronger relationships with lapsed or lost customers.
路Responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts (key account retention).

路Able to demonstrate a proven track record in developing new business.
路Proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets in your career to date.

路Excellent communication skills at all levels with a consultative approach to sales that adds value.
