CompanyNigel Wright is delighted to be supporting a leading manufacturing business in the North East who are seeking a dynamic Lead Generation Specialist to join their team. This is a brand new role, offering an exciting opportunity to shape and develop the lead generation processes from the ground up.  The role will be office based from their site in Gateshead.RoleAs a Lead Generation Specialist, you will identify potential customers, attract them to the product range, and guide them through the sales process. Your responsibilities include finding new customers, building relationships with existing customers, and increasing revenue.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document a process for uncovering project leads.
  • Log and follow up on all project leads.
  • Oversee all telemarketing campaigns following up on Barbour ABI & CIS leads and specifier / consultant leads.
  • Support sales directors, channel managers, and the marketing team.
  • Develop weekly reports and KPIs for lead generation.
  • Oversee telemarketing campaigns and follow up on historical business.
  • Book appointments for the sales team and support marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Develop contact scripts for marketing campaigns.
  • Be a super user of CRM, Excel, and lead generation tools.
  • Conduct data analysis and hold monthly review meetings with your line manager.
Experience and Skills
  • 3+ years in telemarketing or cold calling, ideally in a B2B product led environment.
  • Strong Excel and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Proven track record in generating and closing new business.
  • Strong relationship-building and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, professional, and results-driven.
