Job DescriptionAre you an experienced social work professional with strong leadership skills? As a Team Manager in the MASH team, you will oversee critical decision-making processes to ensure that children and families receive the right support at the right time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of social workers and support staff in the MASH team.
- Oversee the assessment and screening of referrals, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Coordinate multi-agency collaboration to gather and analyze information on safeguarding concerns.
- Ensure that the team adheres to statutory guidelines and best practices.
- Maintain high standards of practice and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Manage workloads effectively to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within children's services.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
