Certifed Enforcement Agent

MERJE is looking for an experienced Enforcement Agent to work for a leading High Court Enforcement Office in the Lending - Consumer sector. This is a full-time, permanent role with a starting salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience plus bonus scheme. The role is based in Newcastle and requires a flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

The Company: Our client is a market leader in the High Court Enforcement sector, delivering outstanding enforcement services across England and Wales to its valued client base.

The Role: Successful candidates will be responsible for receiving instructions electronically, making attendances at debtors' addresses, collecting and banking payments, submitting attendance reports electronically, arranging and managing removal of goods, completing relevant paperwork relating to the attendance, and dealing with telephone calls from debtors. The role requires a full and valid Enforcement Agents certificate, a full driving licence, ability to travel and map a working route, and basic computer skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong ethical and professional standards, self-motivation, excellent organisation skills, and communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Enforcement Agent:

  • Receive instructions electronically and make attendances at debtors' addresses
  • Collect and bank payments
  • Submit attendance reports electronically
  • Arrange and manage removal of goods
  • Complete relevant paperwork relating to the attendance

Required knowledge and experience for the Enforcement Agent role:

  • Full and valid Enforcement Agents certificate
  • Full driving licence, ability to travel and map a working route
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong ethical and professional standards
  • Self-motivation, excellent organisation skills, and communication, influencing and negotiation skills
