We are currently working with a privately-owned Electrical Contractor in Newcastle and are looking for an Electrical Engineer/ Project Manager to deliver first class electrical engineering services on Commercial and Industrial projects across the UK.
We are looking to speak to fully qualified Engineers who are seeking an opportunity that can provide progression within an exciting and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget/ Cost Management: Review tendered sums, manage purchase orders, and ensure costs align with budgets.
- Design: Work with design teams, attend client meetings, and provide cost-effective design alternatives.
- Safety Management: Prepare health & safety files, conduct audits, and ensure safety regulation compliance.
- Operational Management: Oversee site operations, provide leadership to site operatives, and report on project progress.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards with the completion of detailed quality reports.
- Commissioning/ Documentation: Prepare commissioning statements, ensure completion aligns with client requirements, and maintain material records.
- Handover: Strive for zero defects at handover, address any reported defects promptly.
