Our client is a busy and fast-growing Asbestos organisation, with a strong presence in the North East of England. They are seeking a hardworking Asbestos Surveyor, with a successful track record and a keen interest in the industry. Due to the nature of the works, our client can consider candidates who also undertake analytical duties and hold the P403 & P404. Salaries are competitive and come with an attractive package of benefits.
You will be covering contracts across: Newcastle upon Tyne, Hebburn, South Shields, Gateshead, Blaydon, Prudhoe, Hexham, Ponteland, Whitley Bay, Cramlington, Blyth, Washington, Stanley, Consett, Sunderland, Chester-le-Street, Houghton le Spring, Seaham, Durham, Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, Hartlepool, Middlesborough, Darlington, Yarm, Barnard Castle, Richmond.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have proven experience undertaking Asbestos Surveys across a range of client sites
- Must be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
- If undertaking analytical duties, you must hold the P403 & P404 qualifications
- Able to work to UKAS and HSG guidelines
- Good written ability
- Ideally will have experience with IT applications such as TEAMS and / or TRACKER
The Role:
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos surveys across Domestic, Commercial and Local Authority client sites
- Undertaking some re-inspection surveys
- Writing detailed written survey reports including schematic drawings and floorplans
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss contract requirements and findings of surveys
- Answering any technical issues clients may have and providing support
- Travelling as per company requirements
- Supporting the training of new surveyors and site staff
