Role: Gas Insulated Swtichgear Design Expert
Location: Newcastle/ Remote
Duration: 6 months rolling contract
Rate: DOE 450 - 550 p/day
List job deliverables and skillsets/experience :-- Technical Support: Act as a technical resource for the Bid and Operations teams, ensuring that all enquiries regarding GIS design are addressed promptly and accurately. This will involve leveraging your in-depth knowledge of GIS products to provide clear and effective solutions plus liaising with the factory. Support with existing GIS Projects with the Operations Team and All New GIS in Bid Stage.
- Collaboration with Siemens Energy Factory: Serve as a liaison between the UK Team and the Siemens Energy factory. This includes coordinating with factory personnel to gather necessary information, clarify technical specifications, and ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Customer Engagement: Participate in customer meetings to address and respond to technical queries. A strong understanding of GIS products, as well as knowledge of UK customer specifications and regulations, will be essential. You will need to communicate complex technical information in a way that is easily understood by customers.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical queries to ensure that all information is documented and can be referenced in future communications.
