With a commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation, they are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join their team and lead on-site operations across various projects in the North East.
As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing and delivering civil and marine engineering projects to the highest standards. You will oversee site operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring project deadlines and targets are met.
- Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee quality control and ensure works comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and resources, reporting regularly to the Project Manager.
- Manage site documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements:
- Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in aSite Agentor similar role within civil engineering.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Experience in managing health and safety on-site (CSCS & SMSTS certifications preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
